On 24 January 2026, CG Kunming was invited by Yunnan Association of Women Entrepreneurs (YAWE) to participate in the Yunnan Women Entrepreneurs Elite Exchange and Cooperation Conference. The event was attended by the representatives from Yunnan Government Departments/Agencies, diplomatic corps in Kunming, business associations, as well as think-tanks.
During the event, CG Kunming was invited to deliver remarks after the opening remarks by the Chairman of YAWE. In his remark, CG Kunming highlighted about the trade and investment opportunities in Malaysia including for women entrepreneurs and invited the interested parties to explore the opportunities in Malaysia.
The event commenced with performances prepared by YAWE as well as networking session between the participants. During the networking session, CG Kunming had the opportunity to engage with women entrepreneurs from various sectors, mainly in cosmetics, flower, agriculture and culture.
