Ambassador Jojie Samuel hosted an ASEAN Family Gathering at the Official Residence on Saturday 28 April 2012, at 7.00 pm. Among those who attended were ASEAN Ambassadors in Havana (Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, and Philippines [Charge d’ Affairs, a.i]), the Ambassador of Timor Leste, as well as Home-based staff and family members of ASEAN Embassies and Timor Leste.
The programme was held as part of monthly activities of the ASEAN Ambassadors Group. Malaysia is currently the Chairman of the ASEAN Ambassadors Group for the duration of four months starting from February to May 2012. Each Embassy brought their food and drinks which was shared on a potluck basis.
