On 31 October 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Havana hosted an event entitled “Discovering Malaysia: A Journey Through Culture and Friendship” at Casa de Asia. The programme celebrated the enduring friendship between Malaysia and Cuba through cultural exchange and engagement with local youth.
The event featured a video presentation introducing Malaysia’s diverse cultural heritage, traditional dance performances, and a display of national costumes. It also included an interactive session with students from José Martí Primary School, aimed at fostering mutual understanding and appreciation of Malaysia’s multicultural identity.
The Embassy expressed its appreciation to Casa de Asia and all participants for their support and collaboration in strengthening people-to-people ties between both nations.
