Radio Havana, a local city Radio Station, made a live interview with Ambassador Jojie Samuel on 25 August 2011. The interview was part of the radio station’s programme “The World We Live In” as well as in conjunction with the 54th Anniversary of the Independence of Malaysia on 31st August 2011.
Ambassador Jojie Samuel took the opportunity in explaining the significance and history of the Independence Day, and the objectives and strategies of the government especially on the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and 1Malaysia: People First, Performance Now as well as the New Economic Model.
Ambassador Jojie Samuel also explained about the current state of bilateral relations between Malaysia and Cuba. Radio Habana reaches out to about 2.1 million people who are living in the city of Havana.
