The Embassy of Malaysia in Havana underwent training for the roll-out programme of the Sistem Perakaunan Luar Negeri (SPLN) from 14 - 18 April 2014. The training and roll-out was conducted by a team from Accountant General’s Department headed by Mr. Shahnaz Abd Salam and accompanied by Mr. Mohd Faizi Wahab and Mr. Mohd Khairudin Yusof, Accounts Unit from Wisma Putra. All home-based staff and two (2) locally-recruited staff were involved in the training. The aim of the training was to familiarize with the new accounting and finance system to ensure smooth realtime reporting and financial transaction with Wisma Putra.
