His Excellency Khairi Omar, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Cuba in his capacity as the President of the Cigar Club, Cuba participated in a visit to a well-known tobacco plantation in Saint Luis in the province of Pinar del Rio, known for producing the best cigar in the world. Several Ambassadors and Diplomats along with other cigar club members joined the program on Saturday, 28 November 2015. This program organized by the cigar club aimed at providing the club members with a distinct expose to the tobacco industry in Cuba. The two and half hours journey was worth the travel for all club members as they experienced the process of selecting the best Tabaco leaves from the plantation. This annual event will be continued in the future for existing and new members of the Cigar Club.
