VISIT BY THE DEPUTY TRANSPORT MINISTER OF MALAYSIA TO THE EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA IN HAVANA, REPUBLIC OF CUBA

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Malaysia Yang Berhormat Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi and delegation who were on a working visit to attend the 88th Executive Committee of the Latin American Civil Aviation Committee (LACAC) visited the Embassy of Malaysia on 16 August 2016.

The delegation was warmly received by His Excellency Khairi Omar, Malaysian Ambassador, officers and staff of the Malaysian Embassy in Havana.  During the visit, the Deputy Minister and delegation were briefed by His Excellency Khairi Omar on the bilateral relations between Malaysia and the Republic of Cuba.

The Deputy Minister registered his sincere appreciation to the Embassy of Malaysia for the assistance given to him and delegation during his working visit to the island.  The Deputy Minster was also pleased by the invitation from the Cuban government for him to attend the LACAC conference.  He stated that, there are many opportunities for Malaysian companies to invest and to collaborate with the Cuban agencies as the island is opening up doors after restoring its diplomatic relations with United States on 20 July 2015.
