H.E. Ambassador Zamani Ismail paid a farewell courtesy call on H.E. Prof. Ahmad Muhammad Al Tayeb, Al Imam Al Akbar on 22 January 2024. During the meeting H.E. Ambassador Zamani informed Al Imam Al Akbar of his end of tour in Egypt and expressed his appreciation towards the good cooperation given by Al-Azhar Al Syarif to the Malaysian Government in educating and providing the best model of practices in the management of Islamic affairs at the international level. H.E. Al Imam Al Akbar conveyed his best wishes to H.E. Ambassador Zamani on his next assignment. The former also highly valued the commitment showcased by the Government of Malaysia in working closely with Al Azhar Al Syarif to enhance mutual cooperation in the field of education and Islamic affairs.
