The Ambassador of Malaysia recently hosted a breakfast meeting with his counterparts from Cuba, Sri Lanka, Venezuela and Nepal. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity for the ambassadors to exchange views on current regional and international developments of mutual interest, while also serving as an informal platform to strengthen diplomatic engagement and maintain close collegial relations among the missions in Cairo.
Discussions touched on a range of ongoing geopolitical and economic issues, including developments in the Middle East, South-South cooperation, and matters affecting developing countries including BRICS. The meeting also underscored the importance of continued dialogue, understanding and cooperation among friendly nations in navigating current global challenges.
