H.E. Ambassador Zamani Ismail paid a farewell courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Shaheen, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asian Affairs on 22 January 2024. During the meeting both Ambassadors reviewed the ongoing cooperation between Malaysia and Egypt in various areas of mutual interests including high level exchange of visits, trade and investment, healthcare, tourism, renewable energy, manufacturing and automotive. H.E. Ambassador Zamani also took the opportunity to officially informed the Assistant Minister of his end of tour in Egypt. H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Shaheen noted that Egypt's relations with Malaysia has returned to its excellent ground and expressed his appreciation towards the hardwork of the Embassy under H.E. Ambassador Zamani's leadership in making this a reality.
