The Embassy of Malaysia in Egypt facilitated a meeting between H.E. Dato’ Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abd Rahman, Director General of Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) and H.E. Ambassador Walid Hagag, Director General of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies (IDS) during the former’s working visit to Egypt from 21-24 April 2024. The meeting is a part of continued engagement between the two diplomatic training institutions in promoting the exchange of best practices and formulating training programs that befits the emerging demand as well as the changing dynamic in the practice of international diplomacy.
