YAB PRIME MINISTER CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT MORSI
FOR THE SWEARING-IN CEREMONY
YAB Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mohammed Morsi in conjunction with the latter’s swearing-in ceremony as the new President of the Arab Republic of Egypt held today, 30 June 2012. YAB Prime Minister expressed his confidence that under President Morsi’s able leadership the transformation process towards democracy in Egypt will make significant progress.
2. Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib is optimistic that with the president’s dynamism, Egypt will continue to play its important role in the international scene for the betterment of the Muslim ummah and people of the world.
3. Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib also stated that he looked forward to working closely with President Morsi to explore new potential areas of cooperation, in addition to further strengthening the existing close and brotherly relations between Malaysia and Egypt.
