On Saturday, 28 September, 2024, the High Commission of Malaysia in Accra hosted a gathering at the Kempinski Hotel with the Malaysian diaspora in Ghana to commemorate the 61st Malaysia Day celebration.
The event commenced with a speech from Mr. Syed Nauzer, CDA a.i., who emphasized the significance of this year's theme, "Malaysia Madani, Jiwa Merdeka," followed by the singing of the national anthem, "Negaraku." , Jalur Gemilang and Keranamu Malaysia. The ceremony also featured a symbolic cake-cutting to mark the occasion, with the participation of the attending guests.
The High Commission of Malaysia in collaboration with the Chef prepares Malaysian cuisine dishes such as lamb rendang, butter prawn, nasi ayam and deserts sago pudding, ketayap, onde-onde and kek lapis.
