On 6 August 2025, Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah participated in a virtual meeting between H.E. Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia, and H.E. Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was highly productive, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation in higher education. Key discussion points included potential collaboration in student exchanges, co-organization of an education fair, and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
H.E. Sayasat Nurbek warmly welcomed Malaysian universities to open campuses in Kazakhstan and encouraged Malaysian students to pursue their studies in Kazakhstan.
Currently, over one thousand Kazakh students are enrolled in various universities across Malaysia.
