On 11 October 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Astana organized a friendly bowling tournament in conjunction with Malaysia’s National Sports Day. The event brought together the four ASEAN Embassies in Astana under the Astana ASEAN Committee; Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Viet Nam.
The tournament truly embodied the camaraderie, unity, and friendship that define the ASEAN spirit, connecting our community through sports and shared joy.
Congratulations to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia for winning the Embassy Category and bringing home the rotating cup. Special congratulations also to our SU II, Mr. Shaharuddin Aziz for winning 1st Place in the Individual (Men’s) Category.
Thank you to all participating Embassies for their enthusiastic support and sportsmanship, making the event a memorable celebration of ASEAN solidarity and Malaysia’s National Sports Day.
