On 26 November 2025, H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah participated in a virtual meeting between the Parliament of Malaysia and the Malaysia–Kazakhstan Senate Friendship Group.
The Malaysian delegation was led by Deputy President of the Senate, YB Senator Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed, while the Kazakh side was headed by the Chairperson of the Committee for Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship, Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Suindik Aldashev.
Both sides expressed commitment to enhancing ties and leveraging the friendship group as a platform to further advance Malaysia–Kazakhstan relations.
