On 23 April 2026, H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah, accompanied by officers from the Embassy of Malaysia in Astana undertook a working visit to the Kazakh-American University in Almaty.
The delegation was warmly received by the President, Dr. Assylbek Issakhov, alongside the Vice President, Dr. Dauren Dyusevayev, and members of the senior management team. They delivered an insightful presentation highlighting the university’s academic programmes, institutional strengths, and strategic vision for future growth.
The visit provided an excellent platform for substantive discussions on expanding cooperation in higher education, with particular emphasis on fostering stronger academic linkages, student mobility, and potential joint initiatives between Malaysia and Kazakhstan.
The programme also included a guided tour of the university's facilities, offering the delegation a closer look at its dynamic learning environment and continued commitment to academic excellence.
