H.E Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan paid a courtesy call on H.E Samir Geagea, leader of the Lebanese Forces party on 3 August 2010 during which they discussed the latest political situation of Lebanon as well as the current developments in the region.
H.E Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan also took the opportunity to impart information on the on-going efforts to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two countries
