Iftar with Mofty Hassan Khaled Orphanage, 25 August 2011
In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Malaysian Ambassador to Lebanon His Excellency Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan and his wife Mrs. Nirmala Devi Ilango and Embassy staff hosted an Iftar for 20 orphans ranging from 8-10 years old from Mofty Hassan Khaled Orphanage Organisation on Thursday 25 August 2011.
The event provided the opportunity for the Malaysian Embassy in Beirut to contribute to the community especially to the underprivileged children as Ramadan presents the perfect opportunity to bring smiles to their faces. During the Iftar, His Excellency Ambassador also donated his personal contributions and distributed some gifts to the children.
