Ms. Clara Soon May Lynn, Director of the Sabah State Regional Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the coordination meeting chaired by YBhg. Datu Rosmadi bin Datu Sulai, Chief Coordinator of the Sabah Maju Jaya Secretariat (SSMJ) at Menara Kinabalu on 16 April 2026.
The meeting outlined potential areas of cooperation such as the blue economy, energy and education, to promote Sabah as a preferred destination for investment.
The SSMJ is a specialized agency under the Chief Minister's Department of Sabah. Its primary role is to drive, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Development Plan, which serves as the state's strategic roadmap for economic and social growth.
