A Malaysian Islamic Dakwah Mission paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of Malaysia, H.E. Chuah Teong Ban on 8 February 2018. The group was on a dakwah mission to promote goodwill and strengthen the faiths and uplift spirituality of fellow Muslims in Chile and Peru. Peru was their final leg of religious tour which lasted two weeks.

During the call, H.E. Chuah Teong Ban briefed and shared the social cultures in the diversified Peru. He further emphasized that in line with Malaysian government’s policy of people centricity, all Malaysians when abroad are most welcomed to the Embassy under any circumstances for visiting. Malaysia is committed to promote and forge people-to-people interactions between Malaysia and other countries.

As the religious delegation has been away from our homeland for more than a month, the Embassy prepared some traditional Malaysian cuisines to warmly welcome them and to pacify their nostalgia of Malaysia. The courtesy call has indeed broadened the Malaysian brotherhood and strengthened the Embassy’s ties with the local mosque.
