Mr. Mohamed Shahiran Mohamed Shah, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Malaysia in Lima, Republic of Peru held a meeting with Mr. Alejandro Aguinaga Recuenco, Presidente de la Comisión de Relaciones Exteriores, Republic of Peru at the Congreso de la Republica in Lima.
The two sides exchanged views on various issues including the latest developments in bilateral relations between Malaysia and the Republic of Peru, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Lima, Republic of Peru and exploring parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
The Chargé d'Affaires also took the opportunity during the meeting to give a brief explanation to the Presidente de la Comisión de Relaciones Exteriores about the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP).
Both parties expressed their commitment to explore potential areas of bilateral cooperation in strengthening bilateral relations between Malaysia and the Republic of Peru.
