The said meeting took place at the Lijiang Culture & Tourism Bureau Office in the City of Lijiang that known for its famous mountains (Yulong Snow Mountain and Laoruoshan Mountain) including the Ancient City of Lijiang, the Lugu Lake as well as the Jinshajiang River.
According to the Deputy Director of Lijiang Culture & Tourism Bureau, various development and initiatives have been implemented in order to establish a comprehensive capability of tourism for Lijiang. Last year, the number of tourists exceeded 50 million and the tourism revenue exceeded RMB 100 billion. As an international well-known tourist destination, Lijiang is currently in the midst of developing new transportation routes including the new high-speed train routes as well as highways. They are also hoping to open more air routes between Lijiang and other parts of the world including Malaysia in other to enhance the people to people integration and other cooperation.
