On 4th August, 2016, CG Abdullah chaired Coordination Meeting with Muslim Leaders in Davao City. In attendance were Deputy Mayor of Maranao Tribe Hon. Randy Usman, MICCI President Engr. Samad Pangandaman, MICCI Vice President Engr. Moner Ali and Universal Islamic Center President Mrs. Marilou W. Ampuan.
On 11 – 18 August 2016, the Foundation is planning to dispatch mobile eye camps (Al-Basar Caravan) for a period of 6 to 7 days in Davao City. During this period about 4000-5000 patients are to be screened, diagnosed and treated, about 400-500 patients will undergo eye operations with highest possible standard & Quality Control Surgeries. Most of the Cataract-surgeries are done with Intra-ocular Lens implantation with small incision & Phaco-emulsification. In the out-patients more than 1000 pairs of reading glasses are also distributed.
