On 25th April, 2015, Consul General Abdullah attended the 1ST Regional Darul Ifta-ARMM Annual Planning and Inaugural En Banc Session on 25 – 27 April, 2015 at Grand Men Seng Hotel, Davao City with the objectives of planning and prioritizing RDI-ARMM’s deliverables for 2015 and 2016.
The 3-day Programme was attended by Provincial Mufti of Lanao Del Sur Mufti Morad T. Amanoddin, Provincial Mufti of Tawi-Tawi Mufti Abdulwahid A. Inju, Provincial Mufti of Sulu Mufti Sharif Jul Asiri J. Abirin, Provincial Mufti of Basilan Mufti Dr. Aboulkhair S. Tarason, Davao City Mufti Aleem Pasigan.
The Session begins with Welcoming and Opening Remarks by Regional Darul Ifta (RDI) Chairman Dr. Aboulkhair S. Tarason followed by presentation of Historical Development of RDI by Undersecretary, DepEd-ARMM Dr. Alzad T. Sattar, presentation on Regional Governor’s Priority Programs by Chief of Staff – ORG ARMM Atty. Rasol Y. Mitmug Jr., Updates on BBL by Prof. Ali Ayyub and the Malaysian JAKIM and ILIM by Consul General Abdullah. In the afternoon, the Session continued with the presentation on Accomplishments of RDI by Executive Director RDI-ARMM Aleem Abdulmuhmin A. Mujahid, presentation on Institution Building based on Davao City experience and Accomplishments of RDI Lanao Del Sur.
On the second day, Consul Muhammad Khalil presented on the collaboration of Malaysian Darul Ifta to ARMM followed by En Banc Inaugural Session.
