On 10th April, 2015, Consul General Abdullah met Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology President Dr. Edito B. Sumile and college administrators to discuss matters in educational, information and cultural exchanges as well as business development.
One of the priorities of the City Government of Mati is to create opportunities that will help propel socio-economic development in the city as well as empowerment of its constituents. Under the leadership of Mayor Carlo Luis P. Rabat would like to put premium on education and information exchange to help improve the wellbeing of its peoples.
In this regard, City Government of Mati and the Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology is keen to establish workable partnership with Malaysia in the following themes such as Peace Education Consortium, Islamic Education, Intervention for Conflict Affected Areas, Interventions for Displaced Communities and Exchange Programs for Instruction, Research and Extension.
