At the invitation of Hon Governor Edwin Ignacio Jubahib of Davao del Norte, Consul General Deddy attended the Davao del Norte Investment Conference (DavNor Icon) 2022 at DavNor Gymnasium, Tagum City on 16 December 2022.
The conference offers the opportunity to explore economic cooperation between Malaysia and the province of Davao del Norte, particularly in the agriculture, infrastructure, energy, and tourism industry.
With the theme "Embracing Boundless Opportunities from DavNor to the World, the conference aims to stimulate a wide range of investment opportunities as well as promote the province's reputation as engaging and growing investment destination.
Davao del Norte has rich agricultural resources and an abundance of tourist destinations which can serve as a potential investment and economic cooperation for Malaysian businessmen.
