On 2 August 2012, Consul General Mohammad Azhar Mazlan and Madam Amelia Azhar hosted a get-together iftar at his residence under ‘Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia 2012’. It was well attended by more than forty (40) Malaysian students studying at the Davao Medical School Foundation, San Pedro College and from other colleges in Davao City. The Perwakilan ladies prepared sumptuous Malaysian dishes namely Nasi Lemak, Fried Chicken, Sambal Bilis, Salad and Tomato, Mee Fried Noodles, Beehon Soup, Fresh Fruits (mangoes, watermelon, pineapple and banana), Dates, Cakes and variety of Kuih Melayu.
