Eid Ul-Adha Celebration in Davao City 16 November 2010
The Consul General, officials of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Davao City and one civilian member of the International Monitoring Team (IMT) celebrated Eid Ul-Adha at a small mosque in Malagamot out-skirt of Davao City together with the Tausug Tribe of about 60 people. The Tausug tribe originates from Sulu Islands. After the prayers, 3 goats were slaughtered as an act of sacrifice in observance of Eid Ul-Adha. This was followed by sharing of meal prepared by the PERWAKILAN member. The community leader expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Consul General for celebrating Eid Ul-Adha with the people of his village.
