INTERNATIONAL CULINARY BAZAAR HOSTED BY CONSULAR CORPS IN DAVAO CITY ON 15 DECEMBER 2013

The Consulate General of Malaysia participated on the International Culinary Bazaar hosted by the Consular Corps in Davao City held at the Annex, SM City Davao on 15 December 2013.

 
The event aims to showcase the different foods and cultures to all of the visitors present during the event. It was well participated by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, the Consulate General of Malaysia, Consular Office of Japan, and the Philippine-Chinese Community in Davao City.
 
Many people have participated and were able to taste the sumptuous foods presented in different booths. Malaysian foods such as Roti John, Nasi Ayam and Roti Jala were also prepared by the PEWAKILAN DAVAO CITY and together with the staff members of the Consulate General of Malaysia.
 
The event was indeed successful because of the cooperation given by the participating Consulates and offices in Davao City. The proceeds of the money earned during the event will be given to DSWD in order to help the victims of the earthquake in Cebu and Bohol City as well as the Typhoon Yolanda victims in Samar and Leyte especially in Tacloban City.
