On 06 January 2026, Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Deddy Faisal Ahmad Salleh chaired a meeting with representatives from National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), INCEIF University and Halal Development Corporation Malaysia (HDC) at the Chancery Office. The meeting was attended by Arch. Sherrila Porza-Sawah and Engr. Nur-Ain Albani from NCMF; Prof. Al Syed Abdulhamid Aljunid and Dr. Yaxin Ma from INCEIF University; and Mr. Zamulud Awang Kechik from HDC Malaysia. During the meeting, discussions focused on various areas of cooperation, including the advancement of the Halal Ecosystem Programme, Islamic Banking initiatives and the promotion of Halal products.
