The Consulate General of Malaysia in Davao City, the Philippines had opened the Condolence Book on the demise of HIS MAJESTY ALMARHUM SULTAN HAJI AHMAD SHAH AL-MUSTA’IN BILLAHI IBNI ALMARHUM SULTAN ABU BAKAR RI’AYATUDDIN AL MU’ADZAM SHAH, the former Sultan of the State of Pahang and the seventh YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG of Malaysia (1979 – 1984).
On Tuesday 28th May 2019, the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China, Hon. Li Lin along with his spouse, signed the Condolence Book at 9.00 a.m. Hon. Li Lin expressed his condolences on the demise of the late Sultan Ahmad Shah.

At 10.00 a.m., the Consul General of Japan; Hon. Yoshiaki Miwa signed the Condolence Book and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of the former Sultan of the State of Pahang. Hon Yoshiaki also prayed for his legacy to live on and His Majesty soul rest in peace.


At 1.00 p.m. Assistant Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs Mindanao, Hon. Ambassador Uriel Norman R. Garibay signed the Condolence Book and extended his and on behalf of DFA Mindanao; deepest condolences to the people and Government of Malaysia.

At 1.15 p.m. the Acting Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mdm Endah R. Yuliarti met with the Head of Chancery, Mr Abdul Rahman Adun and expressed her condolences on behalf of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia. She then signed the Condolence Book at 1.30 p.m. and extended their heartfelt sympathy for the passing away of the His late Majesty Paduka Ayahanda Sultan haji Ahmad Shah Al Musta’in Billah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Sir Abu Bakar Ria’ayatuddin Al-Mu’adzam Shah, the former Sultan of the State of Pahang and the seventh Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia. She prayed to Allah S.W.T to grant His Majesty, to be placed in Jannah and Husnul Khotimah.
