On Thursday, 10th July, 2014, Consul General Abdullah participated in the University Fair 2014 ribbon cutting ceremony organized by SM City Davao. The University Fair gathered 13 colleges, universities and attracted more than 2,000 High School students from the city and from nearby provinces.
This year’s participants were De La Sal University, University of Santo Tomas, Silliman University, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Raffles Design Institute, SoFA, University of the Philippines in Mindanao, Ateneo de Davao University, Davao Doctor’s College, University of the Immaculate Conception, Philippine Military Academy and MOST Institute.
Davao City Council Committee Chair on Education, Science & Technology and Culture & Arts Hon. Mabel Acosta, Japanese Consul Koichi Ibarra and Consul General Abdullah graced the opening ceremony.
