28 May 2024 – Malaysian Ambassador Amarjit Sarjit Singh chaired an informal ASEAN and Dialogue Partners Breakfast Meeting at the Embassy of Malaysia’s PWTC Conference Room. The meeting was attended by all resident ASEAN heads of mission (Brunei, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore); and all heads of mission of ASEAN Dialogue Partners resident in Dili (Australia, China, EU, Japan, New Zealand, ROK, and US). Also present was Timor-Leste’s Vice Minister for ASEAN Affairs H.E. Milena Rangel, who shared Timor-Leste’s progress on her Roadmap to ASEAN accession. Attendees were given a tour of the new embassy premises styled Seri Dahlia, and were feted to a typical Malaysian breakfast of Nasi Lemak and Teh Tarik; accompanied by Kuih Bakar and fruits.
