Caracas, 1 April 2025 – In conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, the Embassy of Malaysia in Caracas hosted a festive Open House at the residence of the Chargé d’Affaires. The celebration brought together members of the diplomatic corps, close friends of the Embassy, and other invited guests for an evening of cultural appreciation and goodwill.
The Open House was graced by the presence of numerous distinguished guests, including Heads of Mission from fellow ASEAN countries, as well as Ambassadors and senior diplomats from India, Turkiye, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. Their attendance reflected the deep-rooted and friendly relations that Malaysia continues to uphold with partners from diverse regions around the world.
Guests were welcomed with an authentic Malaysian culinary experience featuring a selection of traditional festive dishes. Among the favourites served were rendang, kari ayam, ayam masak merah, ketupat, satay, and rojak. The vibrant and aromatic flavours prompted enthusiastic conversations, with many guests expressing admiration for Malaysia’s cultural richness and culinary traditions.
