Ambassador Mahinder met with a Malaysian business delegation to Venezuela and hosted them to a dinner at his residence on 28 February 2013. The six-member business delegation was led by YBhg Dato' Moehamad Izat Emir, President of the Malay Businessmen and Industrialists Association. The delegation was on a 5 day business trip to Caracas and was looking at possible collaboration in the energy sector in Venezuela.
