ACCIDENT AT MADINAH-QASSIM HIGHWAY, SAUDI ARABIA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that there have been no reports from the Saudi Arabia authorities and respective umrah agents on the involvement of Malaysian citizens in the road accident at Madinah-Qassim Highway on Friday, 26 May 2017.
The leading Saudi Arabian newspaper, “Saudi Gazette” reported that six people were killed while 81 others were injured in the road accident involving five buses.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Embassy of Malaysia in Riyadh and the Consulate General Office in Jeddah will continue to monitor the development of the investigation by the Saudi Arabia authorities particularly the involvement of Malaysians in the incident.
