On 10 August 2025, Ms. Nur Zakirah Anuar, Third Secretary, Embassy of Malaysia, Harare proudly facilitated and participated in a reception in honour of ASEAN Day in Port Louis, Mauritius. The event commemorated the founding of the ASEAN bloc and warmly showcased Malaysia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025. Amongst the distinguished guests present were, the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mauritius, alongside Heads of Mission from fellow ASEAN Member States and members of the wider ASEAN diaspora. The occasion also provided a valuable opportunity to provide essential consular services on-site and strengthening ties through engagements with the Malaysian diaspora community in Mauritius.
