On 18 February 2026, Mr. Aniff M. Fauzi, CDA a.i., was pleased to join His Excellency the Ambassador of Indonesia and fellow D-8 colleagues for a working luncheon at the Indonesian Residence in Harare. We look forward to a successful Indonesian D-8 Chairmanship (2026–2027) and the upcoming 12th D-8 Summit in Jakarta this April. Together, we strengthen South-South cooperation for shared prosperity.
The Developing Eight Organisation for Economic Cooperation (D-8) was established on June 15, 1997, as a framework for development cooperation among its eight (8) founding members: Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Türkiye. Malaysia is one of the founding members of the D-8 and has been actively participating in all D-8 activities, programmes, and initiatives.
