EXPLOSION IN CHELSEA, NEW YORK 17 SEPTEMBER 2016
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that there was an explosion at 135 West 23rd Street, Chelsea, New York around 8.30 pm on Saturday, 17 September 2016.
Reports indicate that 29 people were injured. No Malaysians were identified to be involved in this incident. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the explosion.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia through the Consulate General of Malaysia in New York will continue to monitor the situation accordingly.
