On 17 January 2026, the Embassy attended the Malaysia Education Fair held at the Rainbow Hotel. The event, organised by a private entity, featured prominent Malaysian institutions including Taylor’s University, Sunway University, and Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia, providing comprehensive insights into diverse academic pathways available in Malaysia.
Speaking live on a radio interview with Star FM on the sidelines of the fair, Mr. Aniff M. Fauzi, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., highlighted that choosing Malaysia for higher education is an investment to secure a globally competitive future through cultivating innovation, critical thinking, and cultural intelligence in a truly Asian environment. He also encouraged students to explore edu-tourism, inviting students and their families to experience Malaysia’s world-class education within its vibrant, multicultural society and stunning natural landscape in line with the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
