MRT TRAIN COLLISION AT JOO KOON TRAIN STATION, SINGAPORE 16 NOVEMBER 2017
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that six (6) Malaysians were involved in the train collision incident at Joo Koon Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Station in Singapore on Wednesday, 15 November 2017 at 8.20 am. Malaysians who sustained injuries were sent to a nearby hospital to receive medical attention. Thus far, 29 passengers sustained injuries but no casualties were reported.
The High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore is working closely with local authorities to monitor and obtain further updates on the incident. Malaysians involved in this incident and require consular assistance are advised to contact the High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore as follows:
