2021 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF) - 3rd Edition
1. On 25 August 2021, the Opening Ceremony of the 2021 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF), co-organized by the China Chamber of International Commerce, SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Secretariat of China-South Asia Expo took place in Kunming, Yunnan.
2. All Consuls General in Kunming including CG Faizal Shani attended the said ceremony that saw a limited audiences due to COVID 19 situation. The theme of this year Kunming EXPO 2021 is " New Opportunities and New Development”. It carries the agenda to expand partnership while creating new opportunities and to play a bigger role (Yunnan) towards the advancement of strategic cooperation with countries of the South and Southeast Asia region in the fields of commodity trade, projects, and investment and others.
3. With the current COVID-19 situation, the ONLINE EXPO @ Digital Exhibition presents the most practical and cost-effective way. Moreover, it serves not only to ensure the continuity of the business interaction cycle which is critical to support the current economic development but also to ensure the continuity of the related SOPs concerning the agenda to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
