The Embassy of Malaysia in Cairo, Egypt hosted the 55th National Day of Malaysia on 8 October 2012. The reception was held at Conrad Cairo Hotel and 447 guests the including senior Egyptian Government officials, ASEAN and Asian Ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, Al Azhar scholars, , businessmen, representatives from Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), press and media members.
