The D-8 Trade Ministers’ Meeting was held in Cairo, where the ministers deliberated on the report of the Expert Working Group regarding the enhancement of the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA), which could eventually evolve into a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The meeting concluded with the adoption of the Cairo Declaration.
