On 17 January 2026, the Embassy participated in the Malaysia Education Fair at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Harare. The event featured representatives from five leading Malaysian private universities, including Taylor’s University, SEGi University, and the University of Cyberjaya, providing prospective Zimbabwean students with direct access to information on a wide array of undergraduate and graduate programs.
Speaking live on ZiFM radio at the fair, Mr. Aniff M. Fauzi, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. in Harare, emphasised Malaysia as an excellent destination of choice for Zimbabwean students seeking world-class education and highlighted that institutions provide not only academic excellence but also a unique multicultural environment that prepares graduates to be global citizens. Furthermore, he showcased the significance of every student as an ambassador for future collaboration, and their success directly supports the shared goals of innovation and human capital development within our two countries.
