TYPHOON HATO LANDED IN HONG KONG AND MACAU

Typhoon Hato landed in Hong Kong and Macau on 23 August 2017. The severe storm triggered the Typhoon Signal No.10 – the maximum category warning. As of 3.00 pm on 24 August 2017, it was reported that eight people have lost their lives in Macau.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that thus far, no Malaysians have been reported injured as a result of the typhoon.
